Print Edition, Issue 5November 20, 2009 : Top StoryNine boards to fit the billBy Molly Sheahan and Stacy Spector Rebecca Zenefski drove down Interstate 94 in her red Volkswagon Beetle, proudly sporting an old College of St. Catherine window cling reading "A woman president? We"ve had 10 of them" underneath a new St. Catherine University (SCU) cling. The SCU senior looked up to see a bright purple billboard reading "YOU. St. Kate"s," featuring the face of a woman. The billboards, the newest advertising strategy from the Marketing and Communications department at SCU, arrived Nov. 2 in nine metropolitan locations. " Other billboards have the same design in green and orange. The faces include both men and women, varying in race and age. When it came to the faces chosen as accents for the billboards, Director of Marketing and Communications Amy Gage said the diversity is purposeful. The faces represent the variety of programs and degrees SCU offers.
